Victim in hostage situation had dismissed restraining order
A restraining order was issued months ago against the Fayetteville man accused of kidnapping, assaulting and holding a woman hostage on Sunday, but dropped within days by the same woman involved in the most recent incident.A Cumberland County District Court judge issued a previous domestic violence protective order on Dec. 3.
