More than 150 people showed up at the TapHouse on March 2 to try and win a chance to sing the national anthem at a Fayetteville Woodpeckers home game. The minor league Houston Astros affiliate begins play next month at Segra Stadium, which is under construction in downtown Fayetteville. It will be a few weeks before the winners are announced, officials said.
