NC middle schooler dies after being hit by train
MONROE — Police in North Carolina say a middle-school student is dead after he was hit by a train. Monroe police told local news sources they found the body of 13-year-old Carlos Rodriguez on the railroad tracks Tuesday night. Investigators say the teen was not at a railroad crossing when he was hit. According to the city of Monroe, Rodriguez left his home Tuesday afternoon and was reported missing.
