Hope Mills sets sights on new police and fire departments
HOPE MILLS — The Hope Mills Board of Commissioners moved ahead Saturday at a budget retreat with relocating the Police Department to a temporary facility while a new public safety building is under construction.Commissioners also heard a presentation from a company that wants to provide bus service in town.Commissioners held the annual retreat at Camp Rockfish as they decided on priorities for a 2019-20 budget.The board hopes to adopt a budget in early June.
