High GenX levels linked to air, previous releases, Chemours says
Elevated levels of GenX and similar compounds in wells at the Chemours manufacturing facility were caused by air emissions and previous releases at the plant, company officials say.Chemours has installed equipment that has reduced the amount of air emissions at the plant by more than 90 percent.
