Council considers program to help civil servants buy affordable homes
The city of Fayetteville is considering spending tax money to help civil servants such as teachers and firemen purchase homes.The council on Monday is expected to discuss a program in which city money is combined with state and federal dollars to help working professionals buy affordable homes.
