Police: NC officer shot, wounded suspect wielding hammer
WILSON — Authorities in North Carolina say a police officer shot and wounded a suspect.Sgt. Steve Stroud with Wilson police tells WRAL-TV that the suspect’s injuries were non-life-threatening.
