ASHEBORO — A woman has been charged in connection to the three-vehicle crash that took the life of a 10-year-old boy on Feb. 13. Erika B. Ascencio, the driver of the vehicle in which David Pulido Tejada was a passenger, was charged with no vehicle operator’s license, failure to yield while making a left turn, misdemeanor death by motor vehicle and failure to secure a passenger under 16 with a seatbelt.
