North Carolina officer charged with assault on a female
GASTONIA — A Gastonia Police officer was charged Thursday with misdemeanor assault on a female. A Cherryville woman told a magistrate that Joshua Marvin McSwain threw a vanity stool at her on Feb. 15, striking her in the face and nose.
