Hope Mills to discuss indoor pool proposal
HOPE MILLS — The town Board of Commissioners will meet at 7 p.m. today and discuss a YMCA proposal to build an indoor swimming pool.Last week, YMCA officials proposed a partnership to the town Parks and Recreation Committee in which the town and the YMCA would collaborate on an indoor aquatics center with an eight-lane pool.The YMCA wants to locate the facility on the former Hope Mills golf course off Golfview Road.
