Hope Mills gives OK to limit size of town's commercial signs
HOPE MILLS – The Hope Mills Board of Commissoners approved an ordinance Monday night limiting the size and type of commercial signs.The vote was 4-1, with Pat Edwards voting no.The ordinance now heads to the Cumberland County Joint Planning Board before coming back to the Hope Mills board for final adoption.The ordinance moves toward eliminating pole signs in favor of ground or monument signs.
