Extra security at John Griffin Middle after student threatens shooting online
Extra school resource officers reported to a Fayetteville middle school on Friday after a student posted a threat on social media Thursday. Law enforcement officers were investigating the shooting threat against John Griffin Middle School, a school spokeswoman said. The principal sent a telephone message to parents about the threat Thursday night.
