A fire Monday at 2303 Slater Ave. injured one person and damaged a home, fire officials said.Firefighters got the call at 3:22 p.m. near Enoch Avenue and found heavy fire conditions in the single-story, single-family dwelling, according to a news release by Battalion Chief Kevin Dove.Firefighters found one person as they battled the fire and removed the person to safety for treatment.
