Severed gas line causes leak on Hope Mills Road
A contractor working on Hope Mills Road severed a gas line Monday morning resulting in a gas leak, the Fayetteville Fire/Emergency Department said.The leak was reported at 11:18 a.m. at 2409 Hope Mills Road, between Westgate Road and Hayden Lane, a release said.The damaged line was behind a commercial building and was contained by firefighters.
