North Carolina prisoner dies in apparent suicide
LAURINBURG — North Carolina prison officials say an inmate was found dead after an apparent suicide.A news release from the North Carolina Department of Public Safety said that David Burleson died Saturday at Scotland Correctional Institution.Prison staff found him unresponsive around noon.
