1. Blood donor center: January is National Blood Donor Month. Donors who give at the Cape Fear Valley Blood Donor Center during January will receive a special gift. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every third Saturday. The center is at 3357 Village Drive, Suite 150.
