1. Grinding of the Greens: Curbside Christmas tree pickup begins today for Fayetteville residents in preparation for the 25th annual Grinding of the Greens. Residents should strip their trees of all lights, stands and trimming before placing them at the curb. The trees will be collected by the city, ground up and used for mulch at the Fayetteville Community Garden and other local parks.
