Man charged in Southern Pines armed robberies
SOUTHERN PINES — A man accused of twice robbing a pizza restaurant in Southern Pines was arrested Friday, authorities said.Claude Christopher Miles, 42, of the 300 block of Army Road in Raeford, is charged with two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count of first-degree kidnapping, according to a release from the Southern Pines Police Department.The robberies were reported Dec. 17 and Jan. 5 at Caesar’s Pizza Little on U.S. 15-501.
