City residents to have voice in proposal to name baseball plaza for late mayor
The public will have an opportunity to voice its opinion on a proposal to name the plaza in front of the new minor league baseball stadium in downtown Fayetteville after former Mayor Bill Hurley.Fayetteville City Council decided to be specific in what building it wanted named after Hurley, who died at age 85 on Nov. 26.City council policy requires the public hearing before the council makes a naming decision on a city building.
