27 arrested in crackdown on drug activity in Bladen County
ELIZABETHTOWN — A two-month investigation into drug activity in and around Bladenboro culminated Friday with the arrests of 27 people, the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office said.Eight others were still being sought on Monday, a Sheriff’s Office news release said.The investigation began in November with a request from Will Howell, the Bladenboro police chief, to help curb drug use and sales.
