2 rape charges filed against Robeson County man
LUMBERTON — An Orrum man is accused of sexually assaulting women on consecutive nights, the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office said.Travis Lee Evans, 33, of Mac D Road, was charged Wednesday with two counts of second-degree forcible rape, a Sheriff’s Office news release said.One of the incidents was reported Oct. 26 and was investigated by the Lumberton Police Department, the release said.The second incident, investigated by the Sheriff’s Office, was reported Oct. 27.
