Yemen migrant route grows 50 percent, surpasses Mediterranean: IOM
The number of migrants arriving in Yemen is set to rise 50 percent this year compared to 2017, with almost 150,000 risking all on the journey from the Horn of Africa toward the Arabian Gulf, the U.N. migration agency said on Tuesday.
