Water plan for GenX contamination gets preminary approval
A Cumberland County commissioners’ committee voted unanimously Thursday to move forward with plans to provide water to homes that have wells contaminated with GenX.The Finance Committee recommended to the full Board of Commissioners that county staff members continue work on a proposal to run water lines to the area near the Chemours plant.
