Vandalism causes sewage to overflow into wetlands tributary, PWC says
More than 6,700 gallons of sewage overflowed out of a manhole on Wednesday and into a wetlands area tributary after someone used the manhole as a dumping ground for their trash, PWC said.The boxes and debris that were thrown into the manhole on the 2100 block of Ancon Drive clogged it up, which resulted in a sewage discharge that lasted 54 minutes, the Fayetteville Public Works Commission said in a release.The spill entered into a wetlands area tributary to Little Rockfish […]
