Skeleton remains found near Lumber Bridge identified
LUMBERTON — The skeleton remains found by railroad tracks on Heritage Drive by a survey crew earlier this month have been identified by the North Carolina Medical Examiner’s Office as 24-year-old Varcy Locklear of Pembroke, the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office said.The Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that a skull found Dec. 11 was Locklear’s.
