Historic Haymont Grill building torn down
The historic Haymont Grill & Steakhouse building was demolished Wednesday to the disappointment of long-time customers.The restaurant that opened in the mid-1940s has been a shell since an early-morning fire raced through it on April 9, 2016.The restaurant was in the triangle of Morganton and Fort Bragg roads.
