Godwin man killed in two-vehicle crash
CLINTON — A Godwin man was killed Thursday in a two-vehicle crash on Springs Branch Road in the Plain View community of Sampson County, about 2½ miles east of Interstate 95, the Highway Patrol said.The crash happened at 7:02 a.m. near Green Path Road, according to Trooper Eric Mellott, a Highway Patrol spokesman.Michael Brandon Mendoza, 23, of Godwin, was traveling south toward Clinton when his vehicle crossed the center line.
