Fayetteville fire destroys home under renovation
A fire early Friday destroyed a house that was being renovated in the Massey Hill neighborhood, the Fayetteville Fire/Emergency Management Department said.The fire was reported at 1:55 a.m. in the 1300 block of Hamlet Street, between Cooper and Grady streets.The one-story, wood-frame home was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, a news release said.
