Police: 1 dead in wrong-way crash on Interstate 85
Gaston – The North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal wreck involving a reported wrong-way driver on Interstate 85 South near the interchange with U.S. 74.The wreck was called in at 4:59 p.m. Thursday as a result of a wrong-way driver on the interstate, but that information has yet to be confirmed by state Highway Patrol troopers at the scene.
