Pedestrian struck, killed on Gillespie St.; lanes closed
A pedestrian was hit and killed Friday evening on Gillespie Street near the Carolina Motor Inn.The southbound lanes of Gillespie Street/U.S. 301 are blocked across from the inn with traffic being diverted onto a service road.This is the second pedestrian death in this area this week.
