One dead in apartment fire off Ramsey Street
One person died in an apartment fire early Friday off Ramsey Street, the Fayetteville Fire Department said in a news release.The Fire Department responded to a residential fire at College Arms Apartments on Republican Road a little after 1 a.m. People at the scene said there was a possible “life hazard” in the first floor apartment.Firefighters conducted a search and found one person who had died as a result of the fire, the release said.Crews contained the fire.
