One dead after Lakewood Drive crash
Lakewood Drive is closed following a vehicle crash Thursday afternoon that left one person dead, the Fayetteville Police Department said in a news release.Officers responded to a single vehicle crash at 2:57 p.m. near the intersection of Middleton Court.The preliminary investigation revealed the vehicle ran off the road and struck a utility pole.
