Fayetteville man accused of stabbing dog to death
A Fayetteville man was arrested Friday for stabbing a dog to death, according to an arrest warrant in the Cumberland County Magistrate’s Office.Richard Jerod Easterling, 38, of the 5100 block of Trophy Court, is charged with cruelty to animals.Easterling is accused of killing Precious, a Jack Russell terrier, by stabbing her to death with a pocketknife, the warrant said.The incident happened Friday.
