Council to hear $1.5 million stormwater fine appeal
An engineering firm and developer are appealing a total $1.58 million civil penalty imposed on them by the city of Fayetteville for alleged stormwater treatment deficiencies in the Liberty Hills subdivision.The Fayetteville City Council is scheduled to hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. Dec. 6 in the council chambers to hear an appeal to the fines.Lawyers for the engineer and developer could not be reached for comment .On Sept. 18, the city notified the engineering […]
