1 dead in Sampson motorcycle crash
CLINTON — A motorcyclist driving an estimated 100 mph died Wednesday when he lost control of the bike on a curve along N.C. 55 in the Plain View community of Sampson County, the Highway Patrol said.The crash happened at 6:26 p.m. near Savannah Hill Road, about two miles west of N.C. 242, according to a report filed by Trooper C.C.
