Reports: Child brings gun to school; incident quickly defused, police called
A child brought a gun to Long Hill Elementary School on Thursday morning, and police were called to handle the incident, according to published media reports.The child gave the gun to another student, but school staff quickly discovered the weapon and contacted law officers, reports WRAL at its website.
