Grandmother of fifth-grader who brought gun to school is charged
The grandmother of a Fayetteville fifth-grader who took a gun to Long Hill Elementary School earlier this month was charged Tuesday with allowing the juvenile to have access to the weapon, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said.Terran Scott Hepburn, 57, of the 300 block of West Summerchase Drive, is charged with storage of firearm to protect minors, which is a misdemeanor.The gun is registered to her, said Lt.
