Firefighters battle blaze behind Moore County school
VASS — A fire was reported behind STARS Charter School in Vass on Tuesday night.Cypress Pointe Fire and Rescue, Southern Pines Fire and Rescue, Whispering Pines Fire and Rescue, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office, Moore County EMS and the Moore County Fire Marshal responded to the call at 10:54 p.m., according to Frank Staples of Cypress Pointe Fire and Rescue.
