3 linemen, 1 from NC, killed in hit-and-run while restoring power in Florida
WAUSAU — Three linemen are dead after a hit-and-run accident Wednesday evening. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the three linemen were hit by a 1997 Ford F-150 towing a U-Haul trailer on State 77 near Talton Drive at 6:42 p.m. as they were working to restore power lost as a result of Hurricane Michael damage.
