1,200 lost power over weekend in Vander area
Duke Energy has restored power to 1,245 customers who lost it over the weekend in the Vander area.The incident was reported at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. Power was restored by 9:30 p.m., said Meredeth Archie, a spokeswoman.The outage had nothing to do with the recent hurricanes, Archie said. “It looks like a logger or someone cut a tree that fell on our line and broke two of our poles,” she said.
