Two dead in Fayetteville house fire Friday night
Two people died Friday evening in a fire in the Briarwood Hills subdivision off Village Drive in Fayetteville, the Fire Department reported.Due to the high wind from Tropical Storm Florence, including the risk of falling trees and the weakened structure of the house following the fire, the Fire Department was not able to investigate Friday night to figure out what caused the fire, Assistant Fire Chief Kevin Morgan said.
