Tornado hits Sampson County; flooding still a concern
CLINTON — A new concern emerged early Monday for some Sampson County residents in the form of a tornado spotted near the Bladen County line north of Elizabethtown.The funnel cloud was spotted around 12:13 a.m. and moved north. A debris trail was reported on old N.C. 24 in Roseboro, where the roof of a used car dealership was torn off.
