Report: Federal prisons fail to provide adequate services for female inmates
The report by the Justice Department’s Office of Inspector General points to three areas the Bureau of Prisons fails to adequately provide for female prisoners — trauma treatment, pregnancy programs and access to feminine hygiene products.
