Red Springs police chief, town manager charged with illegally removing, disposing of personnel records
LUMBERTON — Red Springs police Chief Ronnie Patterson and Town Manager David Ashburn were arrested Tuesday for illegally removing and disposing of personnel records kept in the town hall, according to a release from the Robeson County District Attorney’s Office.Each was indicted by the Robeson County Grand Jury on 10 counts of the unlawful removal of public records and conspiracy to remove public records.
