Parents want Cumberland County students to learn 'the basics'
Several parents told the superintendent of Cumberland County Schools on Monday they want to be sure students are learning “the basics.”Marvin Connelly Jr., who became head of the school system in July, said the schools follow the state’s standard course of study.
