Mural coming to downtown Fayetteville
Downtown Fayetteville is getting a 143-foot mural, along with new guidelines for future murals in the city center.The Capitol Encore Academy charter school on Hay Street was granted a certificate of appropriateness from the city’s Historic Resource Commission to allow the mural on the rear of the building, along the narrow one-way Old Street. .The commission last month continued a hearing on the issue after asking for more time to consider the proposal.
