Hope Mills Lake lowered as heavy rain hits
HOPE MILLS — Mayor Jackie Warner said Friday that town officials believe they have lowered the level of the lake enough to handle heavy rain expected from Hurricane Florence.The town has been releasing water from the lake in anticipation of the storm.
