Fayetteville man accused of rape
A Fayetteville man is accused of giving a woman alcohol and then sexually assaulting her, according to an arrest warrant in the Cumberland County Magistrate’s Office.Richard Slater, 59, of Hibiscus Road, was charged Thursday with second-degree rape.The incident is alleged to have happened Sept. 17.Slater provided the woman with alcohol, arrest documents said, “and had sex after waking her from her sleep, knowing she was impaired.”The Fayetteville Observer does not […]
