Evacuations continuing in Bladen County
ELIZABETHTOWN — Evacuations were continuing Sunday morning in the Kelly community of Bladen County, according to a news release from emergency management officials.The floodwaters that have inundated the community south of Elizabethtown, near N.C. 53 and N.C. 210, are slowing, but not receding, the release said.Evacuated residents are being asked to refrain from returning to their homes until the roads are determined safe for travel.Anyone in need of evacuation […]
