Cumberland County to begin spraying Florence's mosquitoes
Cumberland County will begin mosquito-control spraying on Monday in Fayetteville and the surrounding areas, the county announced, because of the increased population of mosquitoes caused by flooding from Hurricane Florence.Trucks will travel the streets and emit the spray between 5 a.m. and 8 a.m. and from 6 p.m to midnight, Monday through Thursday, a news release says. “The chemical used is a botanical product that is highly effective for mosquito control,” it says.
